Supreme Commander - More News, Hype and Fansites
November 17, 2006
I’ll admit to a growing fascination and anticipation with the beta release of
Supreme Commander. After seeing the Gamespy Review, I’ve noticed more and more activity and commentary about the game. I’m especially surprised that the fansites are already up and running. Here’s a sample

There’s also a good game summary from a beta tester here.
Interesting to note - System requirements are not out yet. The official news is that the game hasn’t yet been optimized.

Bucks beat Wizards, tighten playoff race
Lem showcases talent in halftime competition
BY ASSOCIATED PRESS (& GD News), April 12, 2006
The Bucks snapped their four-game losing streak with a 100-97 win over Washington. Milwaukee moved closer to the Wizards in the standings as well. Washington came into the game as the No. 5 seed in the East, but
are now just one game ahead of the Bucks, who are currently the No. 7 seed.
In the halftime team free-throw competition, Jeff Lemmerman made two of four free throws. Lem started cold by missing his first two shots, then hit
his next two before time expired...

Survey Housecleaning
April 8, 2006

GD Update - Where’s the site updates?
April 7, 2006
Yes - a long layoff between site updates. For those wondering if this site would ever see another update, you can step back and take a deep breath, the 2006 recap is in process. Lem’s GD-24 page has a recap of the season finale, and I’m working my way backwards through the other events of the season.
Special thanks to Len, Ted, Juan and Lem for hosting events this year. It takes some effort (and an understanding spouse) to host an event - thanks for a great, successful season.
On the horizon, Sticks & Chicks 2006 (a name that deserves a special logo) is in the planning stage. We need to confirm a date and plan for the summer festivities.

TA Online - New Page *Updated*
Feb 27 & 28, 2005
Online TA is always an adventure. With best intentions of starting at 8:30 or 9 pm, it seems that the game invariably starts late as technical issues slow down the start of the game.
I’ve started a new TA Setup page to document the instructions for getting TA configured for GD play. The first two entries are the instructions for installing & configuring TA v3.1 and instructions for setting up your router. The router instructions are techno-babble right now (including a link that attempts to make things clearer). I’d like to try them out and make improvements so that they’re easy and clear for everyone to follow.
* Updated * - New additions include the six Cavedog expansion units - things we’ve never played with but perhaps should. I’m also finding some additional useful content. As I get it organized, I’ll post it to the site.
