What is life without a little competition?
Much of the fun of Guy Day goes well beyond the actual game play. While getting together to play games is a good time, the real fun is in organized competition for honor, recognition, and (very) limited cash and prizes.
Each Guy Day host organizes the schedule of games and events, and the Guys compete for the honor of Guy Day MVP. While the host has complete freedom in setting the schedule, there are a couple of games that typically figure into the competition. Total Annihilation is the RTS game of choice, and many of the battles are epic. Mario Tennis, played in doubles-tournament form, is another game that produces plenty of excitement and raucus cheering.
GD Exec Board member T-Mac has led all GD participants with 4 MVP awards. Other GD hosts have generally done well when competing on their home turf
