What is Guy Day ?
I am not quite sure who coined the phrase "Guy Day", I believe it was the work of the ever-quipping Ted "Theodore" McIntyre. Whoever came up with
the name, it stuck, and so has the fun and frolic.
Where the "First Ever" Guy Day was held is still under debate. As far as the Founders can recollect, the first LAN party we had was in Lem's basement, when Ted kept
bitching about the "Stupid Shiny Rock Game", that stupid game was of course, Total Annihilation.
From the first Guy Day, the event has expanded to become a great reason to get together with the guys and play video games,
play cards and piss and moan as much as possible.
One of our issues with keeping Guy Day going is the lack of good communication. This Web Site is my attempt to get us organized. Us married guys with kids need some
notice to get Guy Days cleared.
With a little luck, maybe Guy Day can last another 40 years. Who knows what level of screwing off we can reach...
